Well.... where to start.

My goodness me... this car hauls every kind of a@s. Even with the one wheel drive. Ohhhh yes the induction roar is just something to behold! The let off when getting off throttle means business. Keep off boost, which is far easier now with the bigger turbo and it's quiet as a mouse. Wouldn't even know it was modded. Stand on the loud pedal and 7 kinds of hell break loose and off heads the G6 missle down the road, fighting for every tiny little piece of grip it can from the poor Toyo T1 Sport providing all it can!

The nuts and bolts first of all. The cat replacement pipe I bought for the car with the express intention of keeping the factory exhaust was fitted and is now no longer fitted. As tuning commenced on the car it was found to be holding back the power, initially it was thought to be the PWR intercooler on the car but after some testing back to back it was found to be the cat, it required too much of everything to be commanded through the tune to make power. The boys have put a stop gap measure in for now as the car will now be fitted with a full Di Fillipo 3.5" system on Monday/Tuesday when the TrueTrac is fitted. Bring on maybe 370rwkw dance.gif who knows. I hope so!

For the record and dyno princess stuff the car made 345rwkw on 16psi. It has been handed back to me with 325rwkw on 12psi. The car is going back on Monday either way so this will just have to do for the weekend... yelrotflmao.gif Add another 50rwkw and 2 wheel drive and this car is just going to be off it's head. Like it isn't already!

Chris and Theo went well and truely out of the way to explain the where and why's of the whole thing. Brilliant guys if you are reading this!

The car if left in drive with a light application of throttle clearly has more lag than the factory baby turbo. This is a fact. What the GTX can do... is everything else better, faster and longer. Have the car in the right gear and jump on it and good bye poor Toyo, good bye licence and hello to silly little giggle to myself. It is an absolute rocket.

For the record... the grin on my face... I'm smiling about it now just typing this lol.gif it's pretty freaking wide... it could be slightly wider, so much so my face will hurt so enter full exhaust after the weekend!

Hopefully I haven't missed anything... I'm still a little lost for words to tell you the truth!

Here is a picture of the engine bay as it stands now... funnily enough it is still very stock looking!

Great result for the mods mate! Will be interesting to see how the PWR cooler holds up once the airbox and full exhaust are added to the mix. I bet you will be making every excuse to drive it all weekend! Will be a handful with the single spinner for sure! Congrats!

Good stuff mate, sounds like fun. Very subtle under the bonnet too.

Was that the Venom cat pipe holding you back?

Yeah it was Dillz, the boys at BPR couldn't quite work it out. Perhaps I just have the one that isn't quite as good as the others. We'll add that one to the why didn't I just got the whole hog to start with... one hit wonder so to speak. Full exhaust will be fitted next week, so will be heading for 16psi but the car will take a heap more timing too. Looking for something close to 370rwkw with the exhaust fitted should a right laugh mate... not that the way it's set up right now isn't! Just a little bit more won't hurt...

Cheers David!

A full exhaust wasn't in my original plans, but I cannot argue with cold hard facts either. I've gone the GTX... so now it's time to really let it sing!
