Depends on service history really, and if the car is stock or modded, and who had done the work/tuning. Some cars with high k's are great, others are not.

Set a budget and work within that.

If in doubt get a reputable workshop that is very familiar with xr6t's etc to check over it first.

Not a G6ET but I bought an FG with nearly 100k on the clock.. Excellent service record and aside from a couple really minor things I haven't had anything go wrong with it.. Touch wood.

I agree but reckon 100K is about the limit. Things can start to add up after 150K which will come around pretty quickly.

Unless its an absolute steal, pay a fraction more and get somehing 50-100K for the best car/deal.

Yeah mate that's reasonable.. Just make sure they didn't skip the reasonable services.. And if it's been driven hard check how much life the brake rotors/pads have left in em because they might need replacing soon.
