Vevapower Waiting for the 1st N/A 12! Donating Members 2,533 Member For: 17y 12d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 30/01/12 10:57 AM Share Posted 30/01/12 10:57 AM Alot of talk but no facts! Anyone got dyno charts with RPM and Boost for aftermarket turbo setups? I have a GT3566r in a machined 0.5 cover and in 4th (T56) I don't see 16psi (full boost) until 3500+ rpm, and hence I have less than a 2000rpm full boost power band. No increase in peak power either. The stock turbo performed much better on the street IMO at my boost level. The 66mm cast wheel just doesn't do it for me....im regretting not going for a smaller billet compressor that has decent transient response and less lag. Here's my 440 run can't find my 450+ one! This is with GTX2582r spec we ended up making more powert with less boost later on.Oh and on E85 as well. I got 6psi at 3000rpm according to the dyno and 8psi according to the SCT software / t-MAP sensor. PATHETIC!!!! GT3566r in a 0.5 cover........no thanks!
