Exhaust is stock including turbo, then 3.5" CES system all through. All supporting mods are done (brakes, clutch, suspension)I recently aquired some cams 10 degrees bigger than the BF cams. I believe the difference in performance between the BA and BF is largely cams. I expect that the 20+ extra duration will help.I have an opportunity to visit the tuner soon. My long term upgrade is intake ( maybe plazmaman or better), obviously install cams, merge cone exhaust manifold (and seperate wastegate and what-not), and a GTX4294 (1.01 for quick spool).A GTX4294R is about 3K right now and seems like the last thing to do in my list of modsI do not see this as ideal in 1 go. I'd like to contain financial hit while maximising the bang for buck.Option 1. Intake manifold and cams, I can do the piping to the TB myself and be ready for tune, with a small outlay, I fear I may be missing out on a large percentage of the cams potential this way.Option 2. , I could do the exhaust to a merge cone collector in to a T4 divided GT3582 (already have), but with new turbine housing and external wastegates, with a view to supporting the 4294 down the track. (wastage is buying a turbing housing that will not be used long term.Option 3. Do the intake, exhaust manifold (retaing GT3582) and cams.Option 4. Do the complete Exhaust manifold and gtx4294 at the same time. But leave the intake.Option 5. Do the lot.So gents, what do you advise?Cheers,Chris. Nothing else.If it's too much then the modified std turbo. So many things need to change to support it. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/78687-upgrade-path/#findComment-1187227 Share on other sites

That is the comprimise with keeping the stock turbo, and sourcing a T4 divided housing, only to throw it away down the track.Final output aim is 450 rwkw. The 1.01 turbine housing with restrict massive dyno figures but should produce good response.Cheers.
