well.. I was running the box in gently on low boost which is 18 pounds, put about a thousand km on it..

started to load it up a bit, felt good..

changed fluid, wasn't burnt and had no foreign matter in it.

ran through the motions after changing fluid (ran through all gears on the hoist and checked level about fifty times)

put a few more km on it, switched eboost over to high boost which is 22 pounds, felt pretty good..

rolling along at 60kmh in 3rd cog, put foot down and broke out in violent wheel spin, all good.

did it again and had a whole lot of engine speed and minimal wheel speed..

:(

haven't spoken to my trans builder yet but if this is going to be an on going thing I will get it rebuilt again so it's all brand new and then sell the combo to someone who can use it (and more so someone who isn't so abusive)

and most likely use a turbo 400

it's a 4 bolt flange cat, so I can undo the screamer pipe and flange bolts, insert v band cap onto open plumb back port, rotate cat 180 degrees and bolt back together to have ext gate venting to atmosphere when ever I feel the need

Excellent Idea! How does it sound when the screamer is going?

Lol, With that sort of driving style you are definitely better suited to a T-400 or Powerglide in your car.

sounds pretty grumpy full tilt, especially at 6500 rpm on e85.. I was surprised how much the change of fuel changed the exhaust note!

going round 2 with the dyno tomorrow afternoon to see if we can get a power figure and maybe a little further tuning if the box holds up, I'm interested to see what sort of power it's making

between me and my dad, we have a few stray 400s laying about the shed.

thinking of just dropping one off to our local trans builder and tell him to take his time with it and just pay as he goes..

pretty certain I have a shifter for another project I can use.

all just a matter of time and money I guess
