been quite a while since I've been on here so it's time for an update...

had an engine explosion about 2 years ago..

now have a built motor which comprises of:

mahle pistons, argo h beam rods, acl bearings, cryogenicly frozen and ground crank, arp studs throughout, atomic main cap girdle, atomic valve springs, billet oil pump, ported and cc matched head, permaseal mls head gasket etc

also had a transmission failure..

so I had the box built by tony at dominello racing transmissions with a 3000 rpm converter..

also done a few other mods here and there such as

gtx 35 turbo

45mm tial etx gate

dual entry rail

turbo smart fpr 1200 reg

1000cc injectors

nizpro plenum

2.5 inch hot side piping to suit outlet of gtx comp housing

modified my surge tank to feed an additional 044 pump

in the process of fabricating a custom low mount manifold and 4 inch exhaust back to the diff..

then off for a tune with united e85..

hoping to see around 470-500rwkw.

questions and constructive criticism welcome :)

a few other random bits and pieces from along the way

duvyjara.jpg

now have e boost

umu6etus.jpg

knocked up an easily removable plumb back section

2y8eba3a.jpg

did the coils and plugs the other day..

recommend these coils to anyone who has spark blowout issues, currently copping 22 pounds with a 0.85 gap with no drama what so ever

ybadu6ym.jpg

found a photo from when it was first built by autotech engineering many moons ago.. made me quite sad to see how immaculate it used to be and then see the poor state it's in today.. but I guess it's hard to match the quality and workmanship of one if the best shops in the country on the budget of a poor man..

suggestions and questions most welcome :)

I bought a e boost as well, but soled it after I was told that I was unable to run it on my ba turbo by some of the tuners from this forum .nice work mate ,wish I had a bigger shed like yours .just rebuilding my ute in a garage ,and there is not much room left . hoist would be better again .but I am only a peasant my self that can not afford these luxuries .

as far as I know an e boost is perfectly fine to use as long as you leave the factory boost controller wired in but not plumbed in.

I wouldn't be able to do a lot of this stuff if my dad didn't have such a sweet shed and plenty of gear..

and people always wonder why I'm 23 and don't wanna leave home! haha
