depends what you want, comp/core..

comp/core/turbine..

comp/core/turbine/gate..

if it's purchased complete with the wastegate, the screamer and dump pipe and probably also the cat could be worked into the deal so then it'd be a complete bolt on deal ready to run.. for a B series anyway

very little, says the big converter is holding me up..

I'm aware they do soak up a bit of power but I've never heard of one robbing tonnes of power like that.

I've seen very similar set ups making another hundred odd horsepower on other cars.

I know it's not ALL about the numbers, it's about how it goes. but when I look at it, I made 40 less horsepower with a stock turbo AND 4 pounds less boost AND on 98 with an unopened engine..

quite disappointed to say the least.

will have a chat to him about it when I go to get it touched up.. idles too low, stalls in stop/start traffic, stalls immediately after hot start etc

Not good man! My mate recently just had his fg done with GTX, factory motor, factory fuel rail, no surge, built zf with 3200 stall and made 400rwkw on 19psi on 98 fuel with 11.1 afr's so still quite rich (waiting for gearbo tune). Another mate with a BA and built btr with 3200 stally made 340rwkw with gt3540 on 98. I didn't read how big your stally is but can't be robbing too much.

At that psi on e85 guys with FG's are making 500rwkw through built zf's with stall's

Definitely sounds like the tune needs to be fixed anyway, maybe tell spiro you want to diagnose the issue at your cost

any idea on the nature of the issues you speak of? the only thing I'm not 100% sure on is my intercooler.. I'm not sure on exact dimensions but it is fairly big and 4inch thick core.

but it is a fairly old unit. other than that I don't know, the exhaust should be up to the job I'd imagine.

If cooler was a big issue, tuner would have said so and you would b running less boost as bigger boost equal hotter intake temps.

The boost to kw doesn't add up...

Really need to have a good chat with your tuner and ask him what's the G O.....
