I tow my 18ft boat with my f6 boats weight about 1600kg it has more then enough power braking is ok not the best but you aint going fast when you are towing.

only thing I have noticed is traction control comes on when you take off.

towing a boat that size will be sh*t, sh*t fuel econ, sh*t stopping power. turbo deisel 4x4 hands down.

Hmmm sh*t advice ;-)

As long as you've got the right rated tow bar, you should be fine. Remember, a standard rated tow bar is something like 750kgs.

But the boat ramp could be interesting.

Why dont you invest $500 in Hayman Reece tow bar and try it first before you lose thousands selling your car and spending thousands to buy a fourby?

Unless, of course, you really want a fourby.

I always advise people to go with the 90% rule. Buy the car that's most suited to what you do 90% of the time. As long as it can handle the other 10% reasonably well, then you've got right car.
