Approx 2 ton with tools and wheels in the back.I also tow my mates 6M Fiberglass boat with no issues. I have had no issues on the boat ramp on Georges river in Sydney. Its usually covered in Sand and a bit steep.You need to find out how heavy the boat/trailer and your gear is going to be. This will determine the tow vehicle required.The XR6 turbo ute in auto can legally tow (2300kg) which is more than most 4WD utes.I was going to buy a 4wd, but after driving one, I decided to stay with the XR6 Turbo Ute. But as said youd chew the gas big time. Should be fine on wet ramp you just dont slam the gas your not trying to take off quickly just nice and easy to get her out.
