Hey guys, Gaz here

I've been lurking around these forums for a while now, waiting to get enough cash + find a car. I finally found one, picked it up on friday and the smile hasn't come of my face!

Have taken a few mates for a spin in it and they all seem to love it(even a few Expensive Daewoo mates haha). Going to baby it around for a little while, just so I can get to know the car and how it reacts (coming from an 99 Pulsar SSS). Already starting to see people move out of the way when I'm coming up on them and them double checking their mirrors haha.

Has a few little scratches which can be easily fixed/touched up and was the best condition one that I had seen. Also had a few options on the car, plus aftermarket 20" Dark Argents which look pretty good!

Pretty impressed with the ZF so far, haven't really used the semi-auto mode much though.

I do plan to do some modding along the lines, pretty much the standard stuff (injectors, intake, front mount, dump + cat, xcal + tune). If I did anything else to the exhaust, I may to the centre muffler removal, but I think the car sounds pretty nice as is. Just a quick question with this, am I right to assume fuel economy should come down with normal driving after the mods? but obviously more firstly then giving it a hit.

Also. could someone let me know what the rear brake lights are? Need to replace one of them (most likely do both at the same time)

I'll take a few snaps of the beast soon and put them up. A bird did manage to leave a nice present on the bonnet already, which was nice....

Congratulations. I think your Expensive Daewoo mates may be in for a bit of a surprise after the tune :)

The fuel economy should remain fairly similar from my experience as long as you don't put your foot down :P

Thanks! I have only taken a couple mates who drive SV6's. One of them told me, he wished he looked at getting one of these instead!

I'll have to take my mate out in the SS next, think he be quite surprised :)

Haha, not sure if I'm game enough to take her down, well at least not yet. Need some one on one time with the car first, you know to get to know her :)

So, did anyone know which globes to get for brake lights?

And if it starts going in the wrong direction you've gotta put it in drive.. I took out a set of staircases once by not paying attention to that key point..
