Hey guys

My car rebuild was nearing the end ready for engine to go in but ive come to a crossroads. For those who dont know I have an empty BF shell with all wiring looms and im putting everything from my crashed BA. Including the 4 speed auto into the bf shell which had a 6 speed auto in it.

I pulled the shifter out today and all this time I was thinking the wiring loom that plugs into shifter would have just had a plug at the other end but it seems to wire straight into the big main loom that runs right up behind drivers kickpanel.

WHAT DO I DO?

Does this mean I have to replace the whole loom setup from fuse box/kick panel all the way through or can I wire up my 4 speed plug somehow? The 6 speed shifter plug has 8 wires where as the 4 speed plug only has 5, does it use the same 5 plus an extra 3 I can just get rid of?

Help meeeee!

Cheers

:D
