Better brakes would be the cause of that. The rest is pretty interesting but.

Not sure how the GTO was slower then an SS, lighter more power and better brakes?

Right you are Dillz the GTO was Auto, my mistake, Cheers

imo if you are after the fun factor with very little amount of mods buy a manual.

I just purchased a BF typhoon with the ZF and only mod is the exhaust. I must say that the way the car deliver its power is not fun. although from a rolling starting and past 100 ( which I very rarely go) is where this car shines. from 0-60 is does feel sluggish. I know that figures beg to differ but when it comes down to is these are not sports cars and if that's the feel you are after then these will not deliver it in standard form.

take nothing away from the package as a whole though. I have found my life partner in this vehicle

I'm afraid I can't agree with your comments, based on the fact that they are mass produced, the results and value for money are outstanding. Top gear believe, and states that the BF/FG F6 "is the best performance car in the world under $100,000", and we all know how many performance cars they test. In standard trim these cars provide good levels of performance and handling for the money, and can be clearly classified as a performance car. Cheers

I have nothing against the car.I was blown away by every asct of my vehicle and it has ensured that I will buy many fpvs in the years to come. I just feel that the car doesnt really give me a kick in the guts like a few mates imports have. im ok with that...if I wanted a pure sports performance car I wouldnt have bought a ford!!!. I also realise that the power delivery is different

nah my car currently does not have a tune.give me a few.months and il be looking at 350rwkw im sure!!!! definrtly hunting that low down power

I see your point, but if you want an out and out performance car buy an Evo to start with. The comparision with an import is not apples with apples. As some are up to 500 kgs lighter, but I know what I would rather be in if I was involved in an accident. Cheers
