I reset all the codes (which there was alot of) but it still wouldn't start so I rescanned and the BEM said wrong transponder key tried to start the car. Spoke to ford and they said yeah if it sits too long without power the car forgets the keys and remotes. It needs to be reflashed. $110 and they are coming out to do it tomorrow.

Fingers crossed it works.

I'm putting the motor and box plus factory turbo in my ED

I hope it works out mate, just a side note, my old ba sat in my shed for over 9 months with no battery and it didn't forget its keys.

Did you buy the car from a yard? I wouldn't be surprised if they gave you the wrong key, either way once they do a parameter reset the car Should start barring any mech issues

Well surprise surprise the ford tech didn't show and when I rang the service manager he said I was booked in to drop the car in there.

So why did I have to give them the address where the car was?

How can I Hotwire this thing to test run it???

I found out that leaving the ignition on for an hour with 13v or above ( put car on battery charger ) will reset pcm and it will do a self reset

so guess what im doing after I get home today??
