Hi all, I've been here for a while so I thought it might be time to throw up a build thread about my taxi. Its a BF series 1 with the luxo pack, May build. I bought it way back in December 06 from auction in Sydney as an ex executive car with 2500 k's on the clock and I've slowly chipped away at it doing things to my liking. A big thanks to Simon at XFT and all of the boys for their work done on it over the years.

I've had it down the track a few times and the best so far is a 11.2 @128mph on my street tyres, Kumos KU31's, pump fuel, during the day at a private track meet. Hopefully in the coming months when its a little cooler, I can better that time.

Pretty impressive car and time mate, are you worried about the weak bottom end at all? Is that the next thing on the cards? How much boost you running?

I will never touch that car again. I had to cover myself in Metal polish before I was allowed near the engine bay.

'bout time you posted some pics up Brendan, awesome piece of work it is. Only thing going against it is the lack of Purpo........

You going too make it too whitemans park on the 28th?

Thanks for the comments gents.

Dillz, running just under 17psi. Weak bottom end? Man these are built Ford tuff aren't they? I'm a believer in not worrying about it too much, whats going to happen will happen and I know Simon has chucked in some good safety for it. If it does let go, then I will look at something else I think.

Yeah hopefully I can get to more cruises, but they always seem to fall on my work weekends or have other sh*t booked and kids parties.....
