Even at the moment I'm already spending too much haha.

Partner thinks I'm spending $1700, I'm currently at $3000 lol.

Might just go with what I had originally planned :P

I did exactly the same thing with my first tune. Cost way more than I thought. The cat is quite a restrictian. Why dont you save some more cash and get the cat and throw on a redback twin 2.5 inch cat back $630 on ebay to your door. With fuel pump etc the car will be great.

I have a filter you can borrow for the tune if you cant get one in time.

It might be hard to change the date at such late notice, can always try or Simon might have the gear in shop.

Fair point early BA's were running different maps to BFs etc, only posting what I have seen over 8+ years on

the forum they can't all be wrong' 40% drive line loss will see you in the low to mid 140 rwkw , 20% apprx 190

so the debate continues it seems. also noted is that older BA's will Dyno higher than when new. so age and Ks also come into play.

As Brian says , put all the variables together, different results on different dynos then and now

All good mate, in hindsight I probably got the 204 being "average" a little wrong. Ive driven a few BAs in my time and all felt around 200 mark, at leats enough to beat a VY/VZ SS which has very high 100 odd.

Brian knows a million more times than I do and if average is 190 or so is the answer, ill accept that for sure.

ps: Mind you, any new BAT owner that only ran 165/170rwkw was absolutely shafted.....but that's ancient history, ill leave the dinosaur topic alone now....ha ha.

Sorry for the late response, left work and have been on the move ever since (trying to use my half a tank of fuel so I can refill with BP Ultimate 98 as I have Vortex 98 in it lol)

How would I get this filter from you? Cheers for offering it.

Might try get one while the car is being tuned, anywhere sell one around Midland?

Yeah the F6 intake is at the tuners to go in tomorrow, along with injectors.

TBH if I don't get the cat or filter I'm not really bothered.

Mid to high 200's is fine for what I'm after for now, IF in the long run I want to do more to it, I'll fork out the cash to.
