Bigblu222

Here is mine in the same dyno:

XR6T BF

Stock exhaust with cat removed, Bosch 42's, SS Throttle body and 3" intake with airbox.

Stock fuel pump was hindering any more.

A BA turbo made 240-255kw at fly stock - they underquoted to ensure the XR8 had a higher figure.

With 15-20% power loss to rwkw its 37-50 less = easily 195ish-210ish depending on the particular car. Heaps of guys have dynoed above 200 with a stock T, so maybe you need to put your hand on it to get back into reality........or maybe you cant find it. lol

A Phoon can make above 225 - which makes sense considering its flywheel figure.

Mate auto or manual ? , You have been here from near the beginning ( over 8 years v your 1)

Stock auto BA 1's have been historically dynoed from anywhere as low as 165 rwkw to a "freak" around 200 rwkw

Manuals obviously higher , I've used 7 different tuners across 3 states who will agree with me.

Owned 3 modded I6Ts and was involved in upgrades right from the get go

Macca, maybe you forgot to list a tune also......

The previous discussion was based on untuned (as in aftermarket) cars.

Oh yes obviously a tune as well for my car.

My point is that dyno might be optimistic. I would have thought with my mods I would have 270-280 rwkw not 312 rwkw.

Maybe you have a generic tune bigblu which is why it is a bit more that stock (taking to account that hub dyno might be slightly optimistic compared to a rolling road dyno)?

As always Buf, smooth, yet direct.

And yes it's a hub dyno reads about 5 to 10% higher than an average roller dyno

Allot of the time people tend to neglect the fact that it's a hub dyno, dunno why..
