XR6PSI I couldn't agree more. The AU is a great car. no probs AT ALL with our AU. I think when I get my 1st car I'll get an EL simply because it will be cheaper and also it will cost me less to get it looking how I want it. With the AU, if I got a series 1 I'd take a baseball bat to the grille and bonnet, then get a series 2 grille and bonnet on. :D

The ELs alright gitto, but I'd lower it and put bigger rims on it the wheel arcs are just to damn big.

Id go for EL XR6 Stephen it just looks a whole lot better cosmetically and has much more refined engine. ;)

As everyone has said the EL was a great car, I had the Fairmont Ghia with a 'few' mods and it hammered, still I did enjoy stepping up into a AUII XR8 she has been a great ride and I think much better looking than the AUI. Right now as much as I love my XR8 I just can't wait for the 'T'.... the Holy 'T' ..... Apparenly I get the call Monday with a date....

We've got 2 AU's at home, the series 1 I bought new 04/99. Had its 1st glich on the weekend. Servo motor in the drivers door went bonkers on me, wouldn't unlock, $110 & an hour yesterday morning & she's raring to go once more. Great cars the pair of them.
