It will go off once an hour to the point where some nights I have to disconnect my battery to stop it. The door remotes stopped working a while ago but my car still lock but I am not sure if they are connected. If someone can shed some light on the issue that would be great as the last 2 auto electricians I saw were at a loss. Benji_vs Donating Members 403 Member For: 17y 29d Gender: Male Location: East Suburbs Melbourne Posted 17/01/12 10:27 PM Share Posted 17/01/12 10:27 PM (edited) Ive had this problem, the problem is in the remote, sometimes it can get moisture in it and it can cause the panic alarm to set off when the remote is in range.As a test take the battery out of the remote and see if it still does it.Try replacing the battery in the remote (it opens up easilly enough) or failing that you may need to replace the remote. I did this and it fixed the issue.It creeped me the hell out when it happened in the middle of the night lol.
