Can anyone confirm that you definately can get 275 30 19 in the 595 Evo. Federal's website says you can, but have had feedback from a couple of tyre shops that you can't get this size in oz?

yeah option1 garage do these cheap (QLD distributor)

I used Maxxis MAZ's with stock wheels were good value for money, got plenty of km's out of them and cost $180 a tyre (245 40 17's) Now using Kumho KU31's good in wet and dry but last set only lasted approx 5000km's, they are soft and smoke up on the dyno :)

Really? Shouldn't the KU31's last longer as they have a treadware rating of 320 compared to 280 for the MAZ's?

I'd go Kuhmo...

Both get noisy eventually... But Kuhmo better $ for $...

I agree, 31s get noisy for the last 30% of tread.

The Achillies looked stretched on my 9.5" rims (275). Side by side un-mounted the evos are wider than both the Yoko advan and Achiilies. The 275 Achillies were almost the same size as a 245 advan.

275evo's sit nice on 9.5 with good bulge and rim protection.

I have 275 achilles on a 9.5 on my Late model camira and the tyre sits square with the rim. My son has them on a 10 and they look a little stretched, but most 275 do on a 10. Maybe you have a 10 inch rim.

Got 595 EVO's (245/35/20) on the rear. Seem pretty slippery in the wet, even when taking it easy. Tyres have seen about 2000km.

Will give the KU31's a shot next time (got KU19's on the fronts atm). Not to concerned about the tyre noise issue, I'm sure the exhaust will help eliminate that haha.

Another +1 for Toyo T1 Sports, in the Toyo range they are the top of the tree in terms of their Ultra High Performance street tyres. Fitted them last Saturday and they are QUIET as a mouse and forward and lateral grip is outstanding. I compared them against Pilot Sport and P-Zero Rosso and was sold in to these after having Proxes 4 on the car previously. 245/35/19.

How would you compare the proxes 4 to the T1 Sport, in grip (wet & dry) and tread wear?

The T1 just do everything better.

The Proxes 4 went off after a while but still had a fair amount of tread left. They were a nice tyre for a stock car. I wouldn't put them on my car now though.
