No way...245/40/18 yes, 255 at most.On 19" what's the widest tyre on 8" rim? Getting conflicting answers as some tyres fit dirrerently from what I've been told. So would assume 245/255.

I would go into the spiel about how it gets stretched on a 5.0 or 5.5 inch rim and how it upsets the handling of the bike etc etc . Then at the end of the conversation, they would say "So how much is a 200". I got sick of dealing with the general public. At least now I only have to deal with engineers which at least have half a brain.

They work for the gumbyment.. Just saying..Back on topic? 255 on 8? Yes? Easy? Tyre dependent?

I put on Federals 595s on the other week and they seem to look smaller than previous tyres (exact same size 245/35/19) Can't remember but the old ones might of had more meat on the sidewall for rim guards? Posted 24/01/12 09:06 AM Share Posted 24/01/12 09:06 AM Another +1 for Toyo T1 Sports, in the Toyo range they are the top of the tree in terms of their Ultra High Performance street tyres. Fitted them last Saturday and they are QUIET as a mouse and forward and lateral grip is outstanding. I compared them against Pilot Sport and P-Zero Rosso and was sold in to these after having Proxes 4 on the car previously. 245/35/19.
