I don't really pay attention to what revs the car is doing but remember the position of the needle. 2800 is too high. Mine sits on 2000 with 6spd manual. There are a number BA's that had this done.Brian+1 too Brian's comment. 4.09 (closet you'll get too 4.11 in a ute diff) and a T56 with close ratio 1st/2nd/3rd was fantastic on the street.
