323rwkw sounds a bit over the top. My car has a generic tune in it and cooler with piping. so far so good but my fingers are crossed until I get it tuned. Dump and cat will definitely need a retune though.

My stock cat flows over 300 and it was only fuel that was holding more power back...

Maybe the insides have fallen apart! LOL

The more effective the cooler the greater risk of inducing a lean condition, so I'm with MX Dave, don't go around boosting it up until you make sure you have safe air/fuel ratios, and not boost spiking which may cause a lean condition,as your tune my not have the approriate parameters/maps available, Cheers.

Do exactly this.

Exhaust mods and intake effect boost more, bigger cooler doesn't make the turbo suck more air in as it's after the fact. People on here have given their cars an absolute hammering with intake and bigger cooler on stock tune without it leaning out.

To me it's more of a waste of time and money upgrading your cooler then not tuning your car to suit. Having said that if your running a generic tune then there is every chance in the world that it will lean out.

Extreme Street Performance in Queanbeyan NSW performed the tune. Grant does plenty xr and typhoons and the car has no spikes or issues to report after running this power for approx 4,000kms.

So the consensus is a retune. Cheers guys, I will definitely consider this prior to making any more mods.

Shoot 8f, that's probably adding an extra 10kw. 315 sounds more realistic.

look as uve asked the q and this is the answer

any mod from here on in your car needs to see a dyno to make sure its ok especially after a car has been tuned with a std cooler then u replace it for another style cooler massive increase psi wise can spike

when I had a wog cooler in my ba then swoped to a rapid v3 kit it was spiking to 28psi on the boost gauge hence I babied it till I got a re tune I really didnt think it would change things that much but it effected it big time

remember these cars are very finely tuned (to a degree) so any changes definately requir a visit to your tuner of choice just for piece of mind

mate I just added a plazmaman pro series and cold side piping to my stock bf and runs great.... just changed the cooler so when I decide to tune her im ready to go. alex from plazmaman told me the cooler will run fine on its own, changing the cat and muffler will run fine on its own but not both together without tune...
