These are the pipes I bought off you - sounds good by the way! Same stretch of road - pacific highway, went from Sydney to Ballina on a tank. Same conditions as before - one passenger, medium load in boot, cruise set to 4-5k over speed limit.

that's awesome, I did the same trip and could only manage about 680-700 klms on a tank of 98 (Wife, 3 little ones and a full boot).

If you're using 60odd litres for that tank that's still around 8.5l/100km, pretty damm good!

I agree, was very happy with the result, it actually is better on fuel now than it was stock. Probably leaner mixtures and the extra torque are playing a big part

Mine is the same, better now it's tuned. Better mixture in those low rpm and cold running areas help better overall fuel economy.

Its handy if using a gps over long trips, keep an eye on the elevation as sometimes your climbing without even really noticing it, makes quite a difference in my experience.

I also downloaded an app on my phone to calc fuel used at the bowser.

My odometer/speedo is pretty accurate too, within 1-2km/h compared to gps (even after fitting the 19's), probably as its ex police. Most falcons I've driven are 5km/h under what the speedo says.

Headers, 100 cpi cat and exhaust improved my fuel economy. 90% of my driving is on highway. Average would sit around 8.0L. Now is around 7.2-7.5L

Also my distance to empty estimates heaps more now. Used to fill up and it would read about 550-600km until empty. Filled it up the other day and read 771km
