I'd put it on a dyno, to make sure everything is fine first of all, check the power, afr's, valve springs etc...

Then if all good, I'd be saving for a 6sp manual, or a 4sp auto if you want to go faster

joey

did you know that the gearbox was going to be a limiting factor for more power when you bought the car?

if its a bit laggy as mentioned get the tune checked, but more power down the track is going to cost you a box.

tell the truth I went into the car yard with a mate he wanted to buy a car and I was bored and took it for a test drive n took it home a few days later, I knew nothing about the car just really enjoyed the drive and was over my monaro, I dont mind spending some money on the car I would rather keep it manual as the monaro was auto and I always saw that as a mistake,.... so I will get it tuned and somone to go over it and tell me what it has done to it..

Hi mate , welcome to the nut house.

As said there is a better than even chance that the 5 speed will lunch itself , even at stock power.

Check out the Mal Wood and Pit Lane advertisers forums, or give them a call , really good customer service.

also mentioning that you are a member of the forum will help
