Most batteries will die overtime if you never put them on a maintainer as most cars charging systems never actually charge at a voltage high enough to keep the life in them. If its not too far gone the charger may save it otherwise probably get same battery and then say once a year give it a good charge.

both those units are fine for maintenance charging but WILL NOT recovery a discharged battery fully. You need at least 60amp (60000miliamp) to properly recharge the battery.

You battery may seem okay but it will only be utilizing the float charge which is aprox 15/20% of the total capacity. Try cranking it with you foot flat to the floor (the car wont start) and see how long it cranks for before it's dies again.

Oddessey have some pretty good explanations on how to recovery the batteries from a deep discharge cycle. I would suggest you read up on them and take the battery to an auto spark who should have a good high capacity charger and try the recover process.

Be warned, if the battery has never had a maint charger on it you may not get anymore than the float capacity back and you'll be up for a new batt.

They will say it's phucked. But if recovered properly it may come good. Deep Cycle AGM Batt's will appear phucked when they can be saved, and also appear to be okay when they are phucked

Ive got a charger that does deep cycle. Basically if you can find something that also does that in a charger from ctek by the sounds of it you should be able to recover it yourself. To deep cycle the battery quickly set it all up let it charge to full then when its doing discharge help it along by putting lights on till its low enough to go charging again. Left to deep cycle on its own it might take a month to do a proper amount of cycles.
