There not that bad at night time I can't see much of a difference between them. The highbeam from what I can tell have lost a little distance but not that much.

Now we just need the screens to plug straight in and we can all have Mk2's.

LOL we are working that one out now. At the moment it's hard to say since there are so many new part numbers on the mk2 but hopefully time will tell

id say those projector headlights would need HIDs in them to make the best use of that style of headlight system. without, is much the same as the mk1.

and agreed, we need those new screens. that's prob all I would want.

That's the reason why I put mk2 headlights in so I could put HIDs in.

I have only got 1 picture at the moment fitted to my G6E. These are Mk2 G6E which will require drilling for the park light

So when do the non genuine ones come out, the ones I can afford, so I can chuck in a 4200k 55w hid kit, so I can see in the dark

The beam is pretty good I can't tell much of a difference between the 2 of them

I find my headlights pretty good actually, IMO not really worth all the $$$ just for looks. How much better are these mkII ones.

Maybe in a couple years when they start showing up after market on ebay or s'hand at wreckers I might look at them.

Just dissappointed the current FG XR/G6E/FPV never got projectors and HID options.

yer, ford were very very slow at getting projectors and HID's into their upper spec models. real shame.
