I like the look of the front. Wish my BA had a front like that :sungum:

Wheels look similar to HSV Pentagons.

Bunna as always was right. The look has grown on me.

Not that they didn't look ok from the start. I like a lot of others I guess hoped for more. Now that it's done and dusted...meh who cares. My Mk1 still looks new and the Mk2 has just enough to distinguish them from it's predesessor.

Either way its still a T. The fact that people will pay so close to a V8 price for an ancient 6 pretty well sums it up.

Sooooooooo the only real question is ............How's the screen and new functions?

I know the resolution is good and not as affected by the glare and heat of the sun.

Does it have like a flick scroll with the screen if you are searching through your Ipod for a song? Ha ha that's my big pain with the Mk1 turn the knob style one.

I like my music and have 37gb of it and finding an album let alone a band can take for ever turning that freeken knob.

What phone do you use and how did it hook up?

Does the phone display callers names or still just the number?

Signed up for a white FG Mk II Turbo Ute on Friday. Wondering whether I should amend the order to luxury pack. How good is the SatNav and how much do the map updates cost? What system does Ford use - Garmin, Tom Tom or other?

Do the 19" wheels change the ride much? Any difference in the load capacity?

Does anyone have the EGR leathergrain hard lid? What's the quality like? I looked at leather-look lid when we got our 09 FG and they were not good, but may not have been EGR.

XR09, I used the Satnav today and it worked fine. It's not as simple to use as a tom tom but I guess once you learn it, it would be easy.

I have a blackberry torch and it hooked up fine. It show's the names of the callers and callee's, however, my missus rang me today and it only showed her number for some reason. But that could be due to the phone, Blackberry's do stupid things sometimes.

I plugged in my ipod nano today and had my step daughter play with it when we went for a drive.

It can be controlled by the twist knob or by the touch screen. It's fairly easy to use and shows albums and artists and all that crap, but I'm rusty with ipods and kept getting lost.

I don't think it switches the ipod off with the car though.

I'm a bit cheesed that the Luxury Pack didn't extend to an in dash stacker.

Somebody tell me I'm wrong but doesn't compression of music on to MP3 players reduce the music qaulity ? I'm sure they're not as loud either.

Android, I dont know what system the satnav is.

The ride on the 19's is fine, if a bit noisy. As far as load rating, I didn't ask. I would never put more than 350 to 400kgs in it anyway so it's not a concern for me. Those questions could be answered by your stealer though.

As for hard lids, I'm not a fan. I think they're inconvenient unless you rarely put anything bigger than 2 feet high in your ute.

My tarp has already been off and on for load carrying, and I've only had it two days.

Hard tops look nice though.

So I went full noise on the throttle today and I noticed that it pulls good at the beginning but not very hard in the top end (maybe deceptively fast).

I'm having a think about whether I want to do anything about that. I already contacted KPM about their packages with warranty a little while back, has anyone tried them ?
