Maybe by removing fuse for fuel pump. is this how u do it? I have been told to watch as ecu may play up if coil packs art connected. Can anyone explain the steps to comp test on ba bf thanks

You will need a good compression tester which will reach the plug threads, as they are quite deep in the head.I have never had any problems cranking without the coil packs. Are you trying to say that there is excess pressure in cooling system and its blowing hoses off or??

Only one good thing about this is when you pull the head off it will be sparkling clean, Cheers Edited 15/01/12 01:31 AM by Impellor
