After some black wheel nuts, saw some on ebay links below of two types

http://www.ebay.com....=item41601e4c76

http://www.ebay.com....=item415f0a1e89

Has anyone got these chinese looking things ?

Just after something other then chrome, anodising looks like it will scratch off as soon as a wheel brace touches them.

I got the one's in the first link. After a few tyre changes the coating is wearing off somewhat but still look ok......especially on BF MKII 18"

Yeah I picked up a wheel nut from my mates drift car, weighed nothing, obviously some sort of alloy, I wouldn't feel comfortable with it holding my wheels on!!

Some knob at a tyre shop would destroy them with a rattle gun.

Found these on rexnet forums, ROTA wheels has nuts and lock nuts available

SET OF 20 STEEL M12 WHEEL NUTS / LUG NUTS FOR ROAD OR COMPETITION USE

Being steel, these nuts are Motorsport approved for track use (Aluminium ones are generally not)

These nuts feature a smaller head to allow fitment to wheels with deep recessed stud holes / clearance issues.

60 degree taper (for most alloy wheels, please contact us if unsure).

These nuts are strong and durable - they will not let you down, even when the local grease monkey gets out his 3/4" impact gun!

Packaged in 20's and available in M12x1.25 and M12x1.5 thread dia/pitch.

ROTA Australia recommend that all wheels and wheel fittings (nuts/bolts/spacers etc) are installed by a qualified professional to ensure that the correct product for each circumstance has been supplied and fitted correctly.

Seem cheap enough!!

I'd probably get the spline drive and lock nuts so they match in appearance. Be good to see how the color coating wears.

I want some black nuts to go with my matte bronze wheels. Although recessed holes, I don't like the chrome heads.

Bit off topic, but how effective are lock nuts anyway?

There are socket type tools to remove lock nuts they even sell them on ebay, on the old school rims with the nuts that are not countersunk I have seen a bloke use a lawn mower spark plug tool and smash it over the nut so it moulds to it and undo the nuts. More of a deterent then anything.
