Had a quick look and seems a good price, most seem to be from 22 (high K) up to 30 (for very low K, already modded etc).

Whether 25K for the Phoon, which is nearly 10 above a similar klm BFII, is a good buy is another matter.............

yeah CB I get what youre saying there. the only saving grace for me at that price is it's one of the nicer looking FPV's ive seen online. it is similar money to FG T's though. the performance difference while nice isn't top of my priority list. however I have yet to test drive either. im hoping there's more in Brisbane that arent advertised online.

this is something else to consider.

interesting Bonjaz. everything ive read about the fg is good. the only fg ive driven was an XT falcon (rental) a few weeks back and even that was a decent car to drive. drove it from Bundy to Townsville.

FG hands down, no comparison. At the end of the day, a BF is just an upgraged BA. FG got miles of improvements on top ranging from engine(head, plenum etc) to handling, interior and instruments, high output fuel pump, bigger injectors and modern looks. I could go on all day, someone post up more upgrades if they want, its never ending. Who gives a f*ck about the max turbo output. Youll be up for a turbo rebuild sooner rather than later in the BF anyway if it hasnt had the screen done or the oil line checked regularly which most of them dont. The valve springs were carried over from the bf.

I get in my mates bf f6 and it feels very dated. Dont get me wrong, awesome car but f*ck going backwards if you can afford an FG. Worlds apart from the B series and I absolutely love mine, never had one single problem with it. Soon to be in a GS hopefully.

I think It depends on the individual, I had both and I'm consdering going back to the B series. From a modifying perspective I think the BF is a much better option then the FG and the FG isn't worth the extra coin, especially when they will be worth nothing in a year or so anyway.

How many BA's are in the 10's compared to the FG's. I hate the ZF too which doesn't help lol.

What I think would be interesting is having the small turbo on a BA, might even steal a 10 with 330 and the right setup??

Biased maybe? "Modern looks"....please. The fact you actually want a GS says everything, maybe Ford might give you one for free....lol.

A far more unbiased opinion from someone who has also driven both cars and can see the plusses/minuses both ways. There is no right or wrong answer.

Just out of interest and noseyness whats the beef with the zf? iv had mine for a few months now and love it, I can see compared to a manual it might not be as fun, which I admit theres been a few times I wish I bought a manual, but u got to admit as far as auto boxes go the zf is pretty damn good? got you zf tuned?

cheers, Andy
