Further, tuned cars tend not to keep up with a stock T either due to lag or tune safety so whats the problem?!? Only abve 2-2.5kish do these cars show anything like "performance", otherwise they are absolute slugs off the line (especially in autos).

Your car must be broken.

Race an XT down the 1/4 and you'll notice a difference

But I've never been beaten off the line by an XT... Seriously I'm aware the turbos may not have as much under 2000rpm but how often do you fellas drive under 2grand? Maybe I just flog my car too much..

CBXRT Banned 643 Member For: 14y 1m 30d Gender: Male Posted 03/01/12 09:48 AM Share Posted 03/01/12 09:48 AM Dillz, I dont agree.I have driven many Ts and many work Falcons, and NA are quicker for the first 20m if you just plant the foot in auto - when the turbo kicks in there is no contest obviously, or if you spool before take off then the T is much better - otherwise, they are comparitively slow to get going IMHO.As for the Prius comment TAB, if you read the OPs first post you will realise he is relating turbo lag to not keeping up with a XT Falcon at the get-go, hence the whole point of this tread. His words, not mine......
