Regardless of the BOV discussion, what Ratter already said above is the point.

I dont think there is an issue at all, I'd say 95% of Ts wouldnt keep up with a stock XT from a standstill? Further, tuned cars tend not to keep up with a stock T either due to lag or tune safety so whats the problem?!? Only abve 2-2.5kish do these cars show anything like "performance", otherwise they are absolute slugs off the line (especially in autos).

o....k

A turbo should/will beat an N/A off the line.

B series do a high 5 and FG's a low 5 to 100kph, in anyone's books that quick for a nearly two ton 4 door sedan. Your car must be broken.

Might just leave it without a BOV!

Anybody have a 4sp running roughly 300RWKW what 0-100 do you run???

I run 5.8

I ran a 5.9 in stock BF with leak between manifold/turbo, according to an app on my phone (super accurate!!)

that's with ZF auto though, and stalling it up.

Like people have mentioned, they are slow off the line.

Race an XT down the 1/4 and you'll notice a difference ;)

Umm am I missing something? But I've never been beaten off the line by an XT... Seriously I'm aware the turbos may not have as much under 2000rpm but how often do you fellas drive under 2grand? Maybe I just flog my car too much..

Dillz, I dont agree.

I have driven many Ts and many work Falcons, and NA are quicker for the first 20m if you just plant the foot in auto - when the turbo kicks in there is no contest obviously, or if you spool before take off then the T is much better - otherwise, they are comparitively slow to get going IMHO.

As for the Prius comment TAB, if you read the OPs first post you will realise he is relating turbo lag to not keeping up with a XT Falcon at the get-go, hence the whole point of this tread. His words, not mine......
