Fords extended warranty is just an extension of the factory warranty, so yes it's worth it.

I got the new ford extended warranty, extra 3 years up to 100K, 6 months into it & have centre rear bush replaced and R F window mechinisms repleced, so it should pay for itself easily.

as I found out the hard way, check for oil leaks! under the turbo and under the timing cover. I was thinking about the extended warentey but after trying to get ford to fix one little problem I had and failing 3 times and I ended up doing it myself, I wouldnt bother with it. but it does depend on the dealer, some dealers will tell you to get lost if u want them to fix a electrical problem when you have a cai (because its not standard) but some dealers will replace a blowen auto gearbox if the car is tuned to 350+rwkw. from memory it cost like $1500 for the extended warentey, but tink about it, you would have to be mega unlucky to brake something that badly to cost more than$1500 in the extra time it gives you. and if you have any plans on modifying I wouldnt bother what so ever.

cheers, andy.

Check the diff bushes for splits, can be a cause of a clunky drive chain.

Hasn't this been an ongoing issue since the birth of the BA , I'm not a huge fan of nolathane bushes as this makes the ride to hard what are the options
