The problem with B series cars is the clutch switch switches the limiter on before the clutch is fully released and you head but the wind screen if you dont kick the clutch quick enough Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/78340-transbrake-2-step-using-factory-computer/page/2/#findComment-1175843 Share on other sites

So there must be a way to do it on the manuals. Is it on all the time or just activated by throttle position? I.e above say 80% or whatever. I didnt think fg's cut spark...? SPIKO Gold Donating Members 1,924 Member For: 20y 22d Gender: Male Posted 07/01/12 09:16 PM Share Posted 07/01/12 09:16 PM (edited) There is no fully operational 2 step that works with the factory ECU that I am aware of...... There are variations of launch control that can be manipulated to provide something similar but no where near the rquired spark cut, timing control, cylinder shut down etc etc. required for the system to be stable eg. 2 step controlled by a Haltech or Motec etc....Even when it works 5 times out of 10 the ECU and other variables interfere with its operation, there is no short cut to a stable & repeatable boost launch utilizing a drag 2 step configuration, an aftermarket ECU, and dedicated bleed gate with separate solenoid is required, period.. This has already been tested & tested below (far from optimal)...
