Even if this was on the "drawing board" when would they release it?

Is there any anniversary coming up for either the Falcon or more importantly the GT to coincide with such a release????

“The when" I reckon will work along the lines of one model at a time.

If the FPVT is done and dusted waiting for its new box then obviously this would be the next model released. I really don't think we will see two new FPV releases together, or at least not two that are similar types of cars, there might be a focus and the turbo or a Territory (and please god hurry this up so we can get on with our lives) and the Turbo, but not two head line cars like the Turbo and the HO. The HO will have a stand-alone release so I suspect 2005 might be a chance. If not that year then I doubt it will happen in the BA model cycle, which is scheduled to end in 2006

I have heard that GTHO will be a run of 200 cars with in excess of 370kws thanks to a super charger, price will be around the 100-130k. With the turbo FPV are ready and waiting for the new box to slip in, the developement was done when the standard T was being tested in the states and easily running approx 300kws.

Weren't GMH caught out recently measuring the weight of their cars 'dry' ie no fuel, oil or water?

I don't know that 370kw would be ballsy enough. Not that hard to trick up a XR6T beyond that thanks to the likes of Nizpro and APS.

It's pretty smart really, when you think about it. All the dealer has done by taking the deposit for the GTHO is ensured that they have a sale for the car to the customer in question when and if it's released, and in the meantime they can play with the money however they see fit.

Just got to hope the dealer don't go belly up :innocent:

Correct me if I'm wrong, wasnt HO an acronym for Handling Option?

If so isnt the GTP really a GTHO?

I was told this a while ago but only just remembered.

I think if/when FoMoCo bring it out it will the the car to drool rivers for :)
