Dead set tight ass. Perform ICC mod to get rca output. (20-30 bucks in parts)ProsCheapConstime consumingand risk of damage to the audio board (fine soldering required)2. I want top sound on a budjet. Install either the audiocontrol LC6i (200ish)or apline PXE-h660(200ish also (I have one for sale))LC6iProsGTO feature to turn your aftermarket amp on and off with the ICCEasy to installcons.None found so farALPINE pxe-h660ProsFreakishly awsum sounds as this is a Sound processorConsSetup is very time consuming , at least a day of install and tuningmanual isnt very helpful but there is plenty of guides on the net how to get top results3.I dont care about money I just want the best. audison bit.1 (1200+ install)prosSQ that will win you comps if paired with top amps and speakersconsrequires a fair bit of gear to set up properly and most would need to get it done by an audio shopif the audio shop doesnt know how to install and tune it correclty it will not justify the costso now you have RCA's to feed your aftermarket ampMost amps have a Low pass filter that will limit the audio to low freq's for the subsif its a monoblock your laughin!install power from batt.hook up sub .tune.enjoy.Hope this helps you out with what your trying to acheive.were here to answer any questions u may have 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/78307-ba-premium-sound-sub-amp-input-wires/page/2/#findComment-1180584 Share on other sites

I havnt had premo sound before but new shell I have is bday with premo. So with the stock fraud amp and parcel shelf sub wired up you don't get full range to the 4 speakers?? Does this mean your actually losing speaker quality by having the stock sub and amp hooked up? If u want decent stereo should you be unplugging stock sub and amp and not running them at all?Sorry mate just bit confused when u said disconnect amp to get full range on speakers Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/78307-ba-premium-sound-sub-amp-input-wires/page/2/#findComment-1183462 Share on other sites

Thinking either run one from up front from cig etc, or run a relay with a more sensitive trigger that will operate off the factory amp's 5v signal, pretty sure most aftermarket amps need closer to 12v on the remote wire? 1600dave Donating Members 872 Member For: 14y 3m 13d Posted 04/05/12 08:09 AM Share Posted 04/05/12 08:09 AM Quadie,Is there much noise picked up using the LC6i? At the moment my audio is fine, but I have previously tried the ASL boosted/filtered kit and the noise was shocking. added cheap filters and a ground loop isolator to it, added extra earths to the battery/alternator, didn't help. It's kind of put me off trying anything else! at the moment I have just installed a sub and amp, with a cheap hi/low converter connected to the factory sub's plug. Also, is there an easy way to wire the lc6i in without cutting wiring? and where have you mounted them? seems like a lot of wires to run through the car, all 4 speakers to lc6i, 3 rca's from lc6i to amp/'s and then speaker wires back to all doors etc. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/78307-ba-premium-sound-sub-amp-input-wires/page/2/#findComment-1231800 Share on other sites
