After about the fifth run I backed off and the car went into limp mode then shut itself down. I waited a few seconds and it started straight back up again. I did not a notice particularly high coolant temp but it did get to about 92c on a mild night which is not normal. It all sounds and goes fine except I now notice coolant temp rises very quickly by about 6-8c (and drops back down again just as quickly) when I get on a little boost. I had these fault codes logged from my 'Torque' Android app right after the incident:P0196: Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Range/PerformanceP0236: Turbo/Super Charger Boost Sensor "A" Circuit Range/PerformanceP1131: HO2S Circuit Low Variance Bank 1 Sensor 2P1132: O2 Sensor Heater Control Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1)P2105: Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Engine ShutdownP2110: Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited RPMA few weeks ago, I began to notice that coolant temps where a little higher than usual. So about a week ago I did a flush and put fresh anti boil in.Could this be a dodgy thermostat?Cheers,Steph. Still, I'm sure there's something else going on with cooling system. I'm changing out the thermostat and probaly do an oil change while I'm at it and see what the temps do. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/78296-limp-mode-at-100kmh-logged-faults/#findComment-1173794 Share on other sites

I don't think that is the issue here.... Never had any say Panda I <3 Floods Silver Donating Members 11,198 Member For: 13y 8m 13d Gender: Male Location: South West QLD Posted 25/01/12 02:20 AM Share Posted 25/01/12 02:20 AM Had some of those codes.. Listen to MR4.0. I reckon he's bang on the money.. Except it's the throttle body sensor.. Throttle Pedal Sensor throws a slightly different code.. But because of the Sensor Range/Performance issues and Low Variance I'd be checking battery/alternator as a first point of call.. Make sure the electrics are working fine and go from there..
