if I accellerate gently in 2nd Under load its gone, but if I take foot of the accelerator its noisy as when rolling/slowing.

Just drove home from narre to carrum. Everything else seems fine, just this terrible noise.

Just realised what Adam said. The noise goes away when the clutch is in and thrust bearing is loaded not when it's siting there bouncing around. The bearing is already loose enough with the clutch out. If some of it has been ground away it would be even noisier. that's my theory anyway.

I was gonna say that but thought it can't be that obvious or someone else would of said it.

^ gunna..

parked, idling in neutral with clutch-

out = noisy

in = quiet

driving under load = quiet

rolling/coasting in low gear = noisy

was not a gradual thing, it was fine on way back from bottleshop then just sat in carpark for a few hours. then when I turned it on to leave the noise was there...

If the noise is mainly there when idling or coasting with foot on clutch (idling at speed) there is a chance your flywheel may be loose

I thought this too but in the vid it showed the noise disappearing and coming back. I was assuming that's with the clutch in then out. Wouldn't loose flywheel be making the noise regardless of the clutch position?
