This is what most likely caused the timing chain to slip. Where it came from is a mystery, it looks like the same plastic the oil cap is made of.But my oil cap was new when I bought the car a year ago.The plastic could easily have been sitting ontop of the head for along time, and fell down into the timing sprocket eventually.Pitlane has been very helpful, in checking out the car in great detail.
