The title says it all.

Cruising along around 80k's - puff - puff---------puff (for about 20 seconds) bang, grind, crunch.

Opened the bonnet, nothing obvious, checked a few things, noticed the oil dipstick, was reading 3 x the height it should.

Opened up the oil cap, nice petrol smell in the oil.

Towed home on tow truck, pulled out injectors, had tested (All good)

Checked the fuel pressure control valve (all good)

WTF ????????????? How did 4 or 5 ltrs of petrol get into my sump ?????????????

The best part is the fault code "System too rich" DDAAAHHH

Anyway valves are obviously bent, won't turn over..

Lemon 4 sale F6 typhoon 0 rwkw.

Hi, It's tuned to 288rwkw

60lb siemens

high flow cat

Really well looked after, trutrak fitted, looks totally stock.

Crap time of year to have a total failure, everyone is closing for xmass and new year.

For the life of me I cannot figure out how the fuel got dumped in the block ?????????

Until I know how, it's not worth fixing the head or anything else.

Can a pressure regulator valve fail, then work OK ?

Can an injector, pump out that much fuel in 20 seconds ?

Glad I wasn't hard on the gas doing 200clicks or something, that would have been even worse.

dude as the old saying goes "it costs nothing to pull it apart" get it in pieces and have a gander at the damage might not be as bad as your first thoughts

I pulled out the plugs, and removed the belt, it locks turning by hand really hard once it got to a cam lift. Are the cams very high lift and hard to turn over with a 2 foot long bar ??

I figured it was F***kd so I cranked the car on the starter, spins freely ??

Put every thing back on, tried to fire up, just spins with what feels like no compression at all and a back fire.

What ever's bent it aint good.

It's got a extended warranty, but they always try to get out of those.

Covered up to $2500 for engine damage, I recon it will cost alot more for ford to try and fix it. ??

so I'm tempted to diagnose myself, I recon it might be cheaper to get it fixed myself if it's just the valves.

But If I pull it down and it's totally stuffed, then I've lost $2500 in possible warranty.

Wooo HOO.
