Get ringing

If you have no idea of parts or what to get, speak to a tuner and tell them your goals

Hi

If you get the following mods you should see 280rwkw-300rwkw

SCT X3 flash tuner and custom tune

high flow injectors(tuner will recommend which ones)

high flow cat(cat back exhaust optional)

Growler CAI

Herrod piping kit

I got the following done with Ali at BTA, went with the ID 1000 injectors and it returned 295rwkw, I got the job done for a little over $4500, if you choose lower spec/price injectors you will save some dosh

cheers

Armando

fixed the couple of tuners names you missed out on, not sure why but it was bugging me that you left those two out. :blum:

whoever you chose out of the guys above im sure you will get looked after as all of those guys seem to get great reviews.

You may get a better deal if you get your tuner to sort out a package for you.

if you are chasing a number and the car does not make it and you have sorted the package yourself, are you going to blame the tuner?

Trying to do things cheap can end up costing more in the long run due to other things having to work harder to get results, I have not seen many BA auto's go 300 without an actuator replacement, I have seen some BA's that need 15 psi to get 300 and the stock actuator will not do this in the top end.

I agree my actuator went at 10 psi boost and iv just reached the power your after being 307rwkw but im running 14psi to get this also I would recommend a bigger fuel pump and catch can which I will be getting installed in a few weeks at cv in sydney (highly recommend them) this should see me get another 10-15hp because they had to bring it back so it didnt run outa of fuel. aslo if u have standard clutch be prepared to budget for a new one at about $1700 as I also now need one because my HD exedy cant handle it. hope this helps.
