custom tune $700-1000

turbo back exhaust $1500+$500 fitting?

60lbs injectors $350 ($100 install)

cold air intake $170 (assuming it's just K&N & F6 snorkel)

valve springs $900

XCAL $700

Total $5220

That's being overly generous you could get it done cheaper if you shop around/do it yourself.

If it was me I'd swap the full exhaust for a full cooler kit and just run a high flow cat (around the same price), source all the gear myself then find a good tuner to put it in and tune it.

Mate go see Joe @ Cresent Motorsport or Spiro @ Autotech. I spent $3500 and got 270rwkw . I wasn't chasing anymore as I want to preserve the BA bottom end and the 4 speed auto. With your budget you should see 300.

IMO cooler & cat over full exhaust. Doing a full exhaust could lead to boost control issues... Then you'll need an actuator etc.

Doing a cooler will equal more consistent power and a Hi flow cat will help make the power.

:stupid:

That's a good place to start but beware the overboost. You may need about a 10lb actuator and ported wastegate to keep the boost stable anyway.

When you say you don't want to run the car into the ground does that include the auto? I'm not sure what power they are good for in the BA...

Why 60lb injectors? I would have thought 42lbs would be more suitable for 300rwkw...

ok im learning alot here...

I think taking my time is gunna save me some cash.

new plan, im gunna source the parts myself (help will be needed with part names etc)

a parts list would help if anybody knows where I can find one ???

and then find a good tuner to do the install and dyno

hopefully this will save me some cash.

again all help is welcome.....

Regards

UBA

Start with a plazmaman or process west stage 1 style cooler, a F6 intake an KnN will be good too.

For fuel, a walbro intake and any set of injectors, 42s are fine. They have better idle quality than 60s but it's hard to pick.

A hi flow cat will help flow which means easier power.

All you'll need for 300 is 12-13psi, so the stock actuator should be fine.

All good advice given how ever id personally speak to your tuner about injectors and buy what he is comfortable working with.

with 70000kms on the clock I would also look at a auto trans flush and service. the 4 speed autos have been knowen to fail at stock power or take 400rwkw for 100000kms, it just depends if it was built on a friday or not. anyway a service would give you the best chance on making it last.

cheers,

andy
