Massive difference. If there is a fault causing excess consumption (most common would be dodgy oxygen sensor) then it'll usually throw up a warning light. But if you are really concerned then get a dealer or mechanic to give it a once-over,,,but otherwise just enjoy it. in the mean time dont let this thread turn into another I get this L per 100 k and that thread. we already got one. Economy increased rapidly as I did some more highway driving. It seems to be around the same as you guys have suggested. I'm taking the phoon to autotech this week to have it inspected, and possible stage 1 package. Hopefully they can shed some light on this possible flash tune business.Last week I drove it until the tank was almost empty, range was about 10kms. Then I filled it with 98, reset all the gauges. The fuel range went up to 410kms, which is the highest I've ever gotten. Im through about a quater tank and its done 150kms already, mixed driving. I have a feeling that the dealer filled her with E10 before I drove it off the lot. I had not emptied the tank until now, been filling it with about quater tank left. I think maybe the left over E10 was messing up the economy. that's my theory anyway.

But I'd say if you were to run it down to about 50km's till empty or under 1/8 of a tank.. A couple fills and it'd be cleared out..EDIT: Just did some maths.. If you run your tank down to 15 litres left each time after 2 fills there will be less then 0.5% Ethanol content in the fuel.
