It's also easier for any possible issues if the shop has supplied the parts and assembly, not finger pointing or minimal can occur if things go wrong. Get a 2nd hand motor from wreckers, and build up, or as I ended up doing, bought a new F6 engine from Ford. Plenty strong enough for my needs, and everything brand new.You will still need a certain amount of gaskets regardless of which way you go.I had my turbo rebuilt, new radiator, hoses, and belts etc.Not a cheap exercise. I have no faith at all in them anymore. Realized the only way I'll be happy with a car is starting from scratch, that and the fact I've always wanted to build my own car. Now I think I finally have the knowledge to do so.I'm not one of those bought a car now it's at 500rwkws kind of guys, the journey to get there is what I'm happy to pay for.
