From what I've read from Dillz's research it's not that simple. I'm sure he'll explain it further.

If Dillz wants to build a BA/BF let him, why waste money on the FG limo its a 60Grand car. Sell it have a tuff weekender and buy a sh*tta daily. Spend 20grand ontop of the 60grand then sell it for 30grand 2 years later? Have a look at Forum boss CJF077, he has dropped his F6 to $42000 now. If Dillz does it right from day 1 there is no reson why something should go wrong early, down the track maybe. You cannot beat a supertuff BA/BF I think. Got you back Dillz.

Did mine 20k ago and have had no issues, also installed an engine oil cooler as well. Just installed them in the front bar behind the spot lights on either side and removed the lights for air flow.

Check my build thread for pics on installs..

:stupid: Sums it up pretty well.

Yeah it's not just plug and play, for starters you pretty much need full braided lines as the rubber ones they supply with the kit can flex which can send it into limp mode. You also need to top it up with more oil to fill the cooler and lines.

Apparently the ZF if very sensitive to temp change too an with the cooler installed it can drop temp enough to make the box act funny, but a ZF tune can fix this.

XYZ you've got braided lines yeah? Do you have a ZF tune? Does the box feel any different or take longer to warm up?

Having said all this if I was to stick with a ZF I would spend the dollars to put an external cooler on in a heartbeart.

Yes mate, both trans and engine oil coolers were done with braided lines and Speed Flow fittings. Not a cheap mod, but I think it is well worth it..

I did have the ZF tuned, however I have since turned it back to factory settings after I had the ZF built..
