The Viper Smart Start will work as a standalone unit (utilising 4 outputs and 1 input) or in conjunction with a Viper Alarm (5902/5702/5202/3303/3302V). Please note that when used without a Viper alarm some functions may not be available. What alarm should I fit the system with if I require remote start? Viper Alarm 5902/5702/5701/5601/5904/5704.They way I read that it will work without but not all of the functions, and remote start is one of the functions that requires the alarm. Who said it wouldn't work with the FG?

I used the contact on the website. I was looking into remote starts anyway- this would have been great as it takes me 10 mins to get outside work after I finish- would be nice to just jump in and drive.
