Problem is, I changed the boost to 8 psi and now after a few goes off boosting the Engine light comes on & cuts the engine. turn the car off, turn it back and and I keep driving until it happens again.Any one know whats going on? do I need to change the boost settings on my xcal because the real boost and tuned boost isn't meeting up ends? Thanks,Trent

Have you had it tuned or just a generic flash?

These cars dont like being played with incorrectly.

I'm taking it into a place tomorrow to do the AFR & I'd say all will be good

When you say cut it off, did you still have the bundle of wires from the factory loom, not the plug/Boost controller end, but the end that feeds into the ECM? If you have the actual bit that feeds back into the loom, go grab the boost controller from Ford for $59, find a BF turbo, match the pin outs and hard wire it in. Will save you a heap of headaches and re-tunes and least of all it will save you money. The T-valve is a good stop gap, but electronic control and monitoring will help you in the future with tuning and swapping between maps/tunes on the Xcal

I cut the plug that goes into the socket hole thing about 4cm from the plug. I wanted to just splice it all back together but I didn't have the time. I will go about doing it properly now Thank you
