Mine reads about 3vac and boosts to over 20psi.. Could it be due to a faulty sender or the way it was wired up? I'm thinking about ripping it out and replacing it with a mechanical onehi mate did you end sorting it out?? think I may have a faulty sender unit. brought a mechanical gauge but wont fit in the ss pod holder so have to get another electric one. if that does not sort it out I will be ripping the ss pod holder out. I had notice most people go with the autometer cobalt gauges so I went out and purchased a mechanical boost gauge.upon leaving the shop I tried to slide it into the cup and it had no sign of fitting. so I went back to return it and the guy assured me it would fit....after getting it home I had to drill the holed for the bolts out slightly as they were out. then it was able to slide the gauge in. after cutting them off I found that the power terminals would not fit either, so they were bent down and trimmed and power wires soldered on.then I realised that I had no chance of fitting the bulky fittings for the boost line in... out came the die grinder and the base got modded.. all good now!I used the grommet in the passenger side footwell (it comes out near the manifold. and I got my power from the spare light plug for the cigirette lighter ( (on the loom just near the cigi plugs)the other 2 gauges are aeroforce.. much easier to install. (plug into obd) this shows the bit that had to be die grinded. its not to noticable. )I will put some black tape over it to hide it oneday Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
