hay guys I purchased my BF typhoon today ( I think ive met my life partner!)

the car is running a John Bowe exhaust. Owner says he payed around $4k for it when it was fitted. He says the exhaust is from the Cat back > No extractors. Into quad tips.

anyone know much about these exhausts and how much/ if any they add to the car, what they include?. It does add a nice lower rev and idle note but doesnt add much at higher revs

most basic exhausts for turbos dont have much top end noise from what iv seen.

John Bowe has/had a big range of mods for NA6,NA8 and the Turbo. We used to fit heaps of Big brakes, suspension packages, throttle bodys,Exhausts, and intakes. Not sure what brand all his stuff really is but its not too bad. No where near 4gs for exhaust though. Maybe that was including other mods, inc Flash box and tune??

Hi the best thing u could do is throw that exhaust system away it is S#%T I had one on my old 06 bf gt and had nothing but issues with it from running quiet to rusting in 4 months and as for the price I paid $3990 nz dollars for that sh*tty cat back system but in the end I seen the light and bought a difilppo full Stainless steel system and by god that thing sounded angry.
