Haven't tried. This wk I'll head up to the local footy oval down the road n go for a run. Just doing laps of the same sh*t does my head in lol

Yeah run on some soft stuff will help your shin splins in the future. Also, helps your knees and ankles in years to come instead of running along the road.

Make sure you try and do half clockwise and half counterclockwise. You'd be surprised how many people develop hip and thigh problems from running around an oval in only one direction.
